A client has reported a recurring challenge within their organization related to queued notifications not being sent, which results in delayed project completion and internal misalignment between departments. While the option to queue notifications is useful, there is currently no safeguard to ensure these are eventually sent.
To address this, the client has suggested the following potential enhancements:
- Introduce an organization-wide or user-specific setting to automatically send queued notifications if they remain unsent for more than a configurable number of hours.
- Alternatively, implement automatic reminders to the assigner informing them that they have pending notifications still in the queue.
These improvements would provide greater reliability and help teams stay on track with project timelines.
