MFS Investment would like to keep tasks that are queued for notification to not appear in the My Workspace. Users log into Responsive, see work in the My Work area, and begin working when the project managers are not done assigning work.
@Bagavathy Nagarajan this request has not been reviewed yet. Do you know who the subject matter expert would be for this one?
@Bagavathy N and @ajay can this request be reviewed for MFS Investment?
@Khalees V and @ashaa Is this something we could consider for MFS Investment? They requested this early in the year and would like an update if possible. Thank you.
@Khalees V and @Bagavathy N this request was submitted on Feb 20 of this year. Could we please provide an update for MFS Investment?
@Pablo Ojeda : 'queued for notification to not appear in the My Workspace.' - Just to double confirm, customer doesn't want to show the Project tasks in My Work (in an interim) until the user completes all the assignment for the the pending queue for notification. And show it in the My work once the user sends the queue for notification email?
cc: @Khalees V
@Bagavathy Nagarajan MFS does not want tasks to appear in the users My Work until the queued notifications are actually sent. What happens is MFS will assign tasks that are queued but when the user logs in they see them and start working on them before they are supposed to.
@Khalees V is this something the team could look into?
Got it @pablo@responsive .io . Right now, My work pulls the list of tasks that are assigned to a user in Response Project and show it in the UI. It doesn't have a backend of its own. @khalees@rfpio .com : Would it be possible not to assign (or) temporarily assign the task to the user until pending queue notification is sent? This would address the problem which Pablo mentioned.
@Pablo Ojeda Not in 2026 Q1 roadmap. Considering the impacts we will not be able to deliver this quickly. For example
We need to think through scenarios like above and identify solution that would be applicable for all our Customers.
