I am submitting this enhancement request on behalf of our strategic client, Qualtrics.
Request:
We request the implementation of a larger Alert Text editor that supports multi-paragraph content. This enhancement will improve readability and empower Content Editors to create more user-friendly messaging.
Current Limitations:
Currently, the Alert Text field for Q&A pairs is limited to a small, single-line text box. This limitation prevents Content Editors from formatting messages with multiple paragraphs or line breaks, making longer messages difficult to read and edit.
In my past experience as a customer, we utilized a larger text box that supported multi-paragraph formatting, significantly improving readability and editing efficiency.
The primary purpose of Alert Text is to convey important information to users viewing the Q&A. Without proper formatting options, such as paragraph breaks, the clarity and effectiveness of these messages are diminished.
Proposed Solution:
We propose enhancing the Alert Text editor to:
- Increase the text box size to allow easier content creation and editing.
- Support multi-paragraph formatting, including line breaks and carriage returns.
Benefits to Qualtrics:
- Enhanced User Experience: Clearer and more effective messaging within the Alert Text, leading to improved engagement and comprehension.
- Increased Editor Efficiency: Content Editors can easily create and modify messages, reducing time spent on formatting workarounds.
