Please see the following feedback from our client, Finastra.
A user spent several days preparing content to go to the Moderation Queue and had slid the "Save in Answer Library" slider on 127 Q/As.
Before closing the project, the user accessed Menu > Project Settings > Save Content in Answer Library and added her name as the Moderator for the 127 Q/As and then saved that change.
The "Save in Answer Library" setting on all 127 Q/As was disabled.
After this occurred, I realized why it happened: Our Org Settings are set to NOT save all contents in the AL by default. When the user added her name in the Moderator field under Menu > Project Settings > Save Contents in Answer Library, this action also reset all Q/As to the default, which is NOT to save in the AL.
This was an unexpected change and has caused us extra work. We've had to figure out (using activities, etc.) which content was set to go to the AL in the project. When an action will cause such a major change, please add a warning ("This will reset all settings to the default") so we don't make the same mistake again. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for submitting the idea. We will definitely consider for enhancement and it will be beneficial for all the users. We have added this enhancement in the New Answer Library settings. I have added the JIRA link under the overview section.
