Please add a document indicator icon (such as a paperclip icon) in the columns of the Projects list view. This would allow clients to easily identify if there are documents associated with a project.
Client: Husch Blackwell
@catelyn How would they use that indication? For example, when a project is archived, we do not allow the users to access the project documents. Are they expecting it to show even for archived projects?
They want it to be in the archived area as well since the archived view is quite limited, similar to the attachement icon in the intake section. I've attached a screenshot below for reference.
@Khalees V
@catelyn Understood that they would like to quickly view the count of documents. Just wanted to understand how this attachment icon is going to help and in what ways? What decision they will make out of it?
This particular client typically works with multiple source files and supporting documents per project. Because there’s usually more than one file, they often need to click into each project individually to view the exact documents being referenced. Not all users have immediate direct access to these files outside of Responsive.
For that reason, the client would prefer a visual indicator that quickly makes it easier to identify what’s included without fully going into a project.
I’ll also follow up with the client to see if they have any other use cases or ideas in mind.
@catelyn Thank you for sharing more details. We will keep you informed once we add to roamdap.
Hi @Khalees V, any updates to share regarding this?
