Private Comments

Two clients (TCW & PIMCO) brought this up as a request. They would like to be able to have private comments/discussions in Projects.

Use case: their internal proposal team has discussions regarding a project. They then add SMEs as authors/reviewers and do not want those individuals to see this discussions.

@Melissa Morrison Even now a user in the team member role cannot view discussions the user is not part of under discussions tab. So authors or reviewers under team member role even if they are added to the project team, they will not be able to see those discussions. Can we convey this to Customer and check if this meets their expectations?

@Khalees V I will convey to the customer. How would it work for a custom role?

@Melissa Morrison For custom roles, users with "Update Section" permission will be able to see those discussions. So if they prefer that the users should not see those discussions under discussion tab like Team Member, the "Update Section" permission has to be removed.
