Annotations Copied from Content Library

PIMCO has requested the functionality that when you are copying a QA record from the Content Library that they annotation footnotes in the record is included in the copy.

From PIMCO "it’s really important we have the footnotes populate when the Q&A pair is pasted into another document."

Current state: the annotation does not get copied.

@Melissa Morrison Is it possible to share the screenshot of the QA record in the Content Library and how it looks after used in the Project for reference?

@Khalees V The team has seen how a footnote is added in Project and the functionality works correctly there. For reference, the team is coming from Qvidian and never used projects before so they are use to only use the Content Library functionality. In Qvidian, the footnotes came across when they copy and pasted records into Word. CC: @Ginno Bergunio

@Khalees V - They have it posted in a separate S4 but as this one has more activity, posting here, Golub Capital also highly interested in this release if you can provide any updated timeline here. Status shows planned. Is this scheduled for upcoming release?

Are they just using the Copy button to copy the answers from the content library or are they using to search in Recommendations to add it. Please give more clarity on it.

@karthikumar The original request from PIMCO was from using the Copy button to copy answer the answer from the library and past into Word. I posted a link above.

@support I have created footnote in google doc and found it is implemented as provided in the screenshot below. Sameway, do we need to present the footnote when a Q&A pair response is copied and pasted in word or google doc?

Aegon has also requested this functionality. This is another team that has migrated from Qvidian and use annotations heavily.

@support Ability to copy the response containing footnotes and paste it to word and bring the footnote as exported in projects is not feasible. Instead we are checking feasibility of applying the footnote to word document via Look up word and show the footnote at the end of the page as shown in above screenshot. Will keep you updated on this.
