Ability to exclude fields in an export

Optum S4 Request:

It would be helpful if in the Content Library Advanced Search we could include an "exclude" option on all metadata including custom fields, similar to how we can exclude tags. It would allow knowledge managers to customize their searches within the application to find content that has Value A but not Value B under the same custom field. Then export this information.

It is possible to implement custom field types such as drop down, radio button, and checkbox with exclude option.

Are they also expecting it for the plain custom text field?

Hi @Karthik Kumar below is the response from Optum. Please go through the response and help us with the excel file with all the fields that are available in the advance filters, type of these fields, picklist options available (any, all, exclude, etc.)

Optum:

we looked at the advanced filter option in the Content Library. We are not expecting an exclude option for text fields since there can be a lot of variation in text . Having said that we want to make sure that the Exclude option is available on other drop down fields. Requesting you to provide me an excel file with all the fields that are available in the advance filters, type of these fields, picklist options available (any, all, exclude, etc.). We will review this data internally and then get back to you on the exact fields where we are looking for exclude as an option.

However, they're still requesting an excel file with all the fields that are available in the advance filters, type of these fields, and picklist options available (any, all, exclude, etc.). @Delora Immaculat J We dont have any excel file with that fields.

Based on the request I see they are asking for Exclude option to the custom fields. To start with we can do for Drop down, Radio and checkbox.

We can plan it for Q4,2025
