This is from Genesys.
They say sorting of the drop-down list for the Collection field when using the advanced searching/filtering is best in Classic and is not user friendly in New UI as we cannot sort Alphabetically
In their own words
"the list of Collections is not in any meaningful order, as it is not alphabetical nor in any content-count order. It also appears that order cannot be changed: refer the attached image.
While we understand the field is searchable by typing, this disordered list is not ideal, because it's difficult to review when scrolling through the list.
This same problem also occurs when searching the Tags field, which are also not in alphabetical or count-count order. The disordered list is more a problem in that case, because we have over 200 tags, and our users sometimes need to scroll through the list to find the tag(s) they're looking for: refer attached image Genesys Example2
It would be helpful if these lists (and any such others) could simply be presented in alphabetical order.
