Auto-identify tags (hierarchical tags)

Prime Therapeutics is requesting the following:

Responsive should auto-identify if the child tag(Does not have a parent) is associated with the
record and should be able to recognize the parent of its tags.

Scenario (explanation):

Ideally, we should not have to manually make the connection between
tags within the organization settings. We should have a bank of tags, with each tag
being designated parent, child, or grandchild, and then be able to assign those tags to a
record. The tool should then recognize the assigned tags and display those tag
combinations in a tree or folder-like structure.

The tool needs to make all the possible parent/child connections each
time a tag is used or removed. I have 29 parent tags and 265 child tags. It
would be a burden to manually link all 265 child tags to each of the 29
parent tags within the organization settings. If I have a child tag that’s
never been associated with a parent tag before, I shouldn’t have to go to
the organization settings to create this combination. The system should
allow me to assign that child tag to a record and be able to recognize a
new combination was created.

@sathish s Prime Therapeutics is asking if this will be considered. They have several requests that say they will be considered if we receive similar requests so they are a little frustrated. Thanks for your help.

After making GA as of now only 10% of customer base are using Hierarchical tags we will wait for more customers to start using H.tags.

We will collect feedbacks from all other customers, we will validate it and then we will consider it for future. Very valid ask we have not discussed this in our past, we will definitely consider enhancement request at the time of improving Hierarchical tags.
