I was just assigned as a primary project contact and I want to make sure we remain on track. Does anyone have any best practices for monitoring Q&A statuses, and ensuring we remain on the Proposal's timeline?
Have you checked out this university series on tracking important information via Project Details?
This is a really helpful resource, Helene! Thank you!
Happy Monday Kristen! I personally keep an external calendar of the Proposals timeline along with assigning and scheduling tasks in RFPIO. I do this because I tend to look at my own calendar more than RFPIO, so I'm always one step ahead of the system. Hope this helps!
Thank you, Tabitha! I get asked this question a lot so super helpful to hear how other clients are managing! Do you do a shared calendar with your team or just for individual use?
I'm wondering if you might know about syncing RFPIO to your calendar and if you like it? The article can be found here. https://help.rfpio.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005876773-Syncing-RFPIO-s-iCalendar-with-Google-Calendar-and-Microsoft-Outlook
Hello everyone! Great information...prior to using RFPIO my RFP team would use word and excel documents to track project progress...and on the word document they created a calendar for tracking items. I am glad to say that now we just use RFPIO for everything! I did have our IT department change our security process to allow the RFPIO calendar to push data over to each person's outlook calendar so that we could eliminate any external calendar usage. I also have the RFP team create a new discuss thread in each project called "weekly matrix review" and when we meet each Tuesday then all notes are put into that thread so that if the manager is out then anyone can pickup and check on progress. Lastly, I encourage all my team to have a default view on the project page that shows questions & sections that are answered/reviewed....as well as task project progress.
This is great, Andrew! I'm going to have to use the idea of the thread in each project for "Weekly reviews" with other clients. Allows for collaboration and visibility across the whole project team!
