One of our custom fields, Main Categories, leverages the multi-select option. This feature allows certain library records to be assigned multiple main categories. For instance, 1) some records are solely for the Large-Cap Strategy and are tagged accordingly in Main Categories. 2) Other records can be used for both the Large-Cap Strategy and the Small-Cap Strategy, so they are marked with both categories.
When filtering by “Large-Cap Strategy,” it includes all relevant records from cases 1) and 2), which is beneficial for users looking to see all records applicable to a Large-Cap Strategy proposal. However, from a content management standpoint, we need a way to filter records exclusively created for the “Large-Cap Strategy.” Additionally, we want the capability to filter records that apply to both Main Categories. If this feature isn’t available, could it be considered for enhancement?
