Currently, when an author or reviewer comments in a project to a guest, the guest cannot see the comment on their end. This makes it more difficult to respond to those comments. However, the author/reviewer can see the guest comment in the Responsive platform. Having visibility for the guest when they are mentioned on a question/section etc. would make way for a much smoother communication workflow. See two examples below.
@Alexis Hester At present, we do not have the capability to @mention the guest as they are not a user in the Responsive platform. But i understand the need that there should be a way where Project admins or managers should be able to reach out to Guest through comments. Right now, it can be possible only when Guest post a comment to Project admin/manager and they reply back to Guest's comment. We will enhance this in future.
@Alexis Hester Can you share the Customer name requested for this feature?
https://rfpioinc.atlassian.net/browse/RES-121971
@Khalees V Customer who requested this was Single Source Security
Also, to your point, it would be great for an @ mention feature for guests BUT if there's a way simply just so guests can see those comments without being @ mentioned, currently, that would still greatly improve the workflow.
@Khalees V Teladoc & Invicti Security also cited comments being critical to Guest collaboration + we'll likely see more usage of this functionality (and need for displayed comments), as we move clients to User Limits (new packaging)
@Alexis Hester This S4 has been implemented in Dec 19 release. Now authors and reviewers can send message to guest by at-mentioning guest email address in comments.
