Reverting to past versions of a project

Let clients revert to previous versions of a project. This would be super helpful if a user made changes or answered questions they weren’t supposed to, and you can quickly go back without fixing each question one by one. It’s also great if you made some formatting tweaks that you don’t need anymore and want to undo.

@catelyn I understand the problem to revert to previous version. But my question is how often a project will be reverted back to previous versions. Also, why would project level revert is needed which will revert all the questions to previous versions? Looks like a niche ask. May be i am missing something here and if you could share more details it would be great.

Hi, you're exactly right, this is a niche ask. I listed some reasons above why this might be needed. Maybe instead of past projects, past section versions? This client has had more than a few times, users default all questions to one answer via the bulk answers function mid-project. Instead of revisiting the past answer provisions for each question or viewing activities, they would like an easy way to revert the project.

Hi @catelyn If i understand the problem, they used the bulk answer feature and the same answer is applied to all the questions. Please confirm? If Yes, I agree and this is not evident or clear to the user doing bulk answering. We will enhance it in future.

Hi, yes, a user in their instance, without internal permission from the main admin overrided and bulk answered all questions in a project to one answer.

If this happens again, the client would like the opportunity to quickly revert the entire project back rather than going through each question and its activities to apply the previous version. @Khalees V

@catelyn As of today, there is no update on this enhancement request. The interim solution we are planning is to bring an alert/warning message on the behavior. Keep you informed when we implement the interim solution.

@catelyn The workaround is to go question wise and rever to previous version from the activities tab. We do not have plan to bring project wide option to switch to previous answer.
