Prime Therapeutics is requesting the ability to edit or update the metadata of a Q&A pair while it is in review and have those changes visible immediately. They do not want to take it out of review just to make a minor change to the metadata.
@VISWA S and @sathish s is this something we can look into for Prime Therapeutics?
@Pablo Ojeda We have received similar request from other customers. We will discuss and keep you posted.
Hi @sathish s Can we have any update on this issue and the details on when we might be planning to release this item? Thanks in advance!
@GS Karthika This is not an issue. This is something we have to implement as new enhancement. Right now we have it in our priority backlog. We have not arrived on the timeline yet. We will keep you posted once it is planned. Thank you!
@sathish s Prime Therapeutics is asking if there are any updates on this request. Please let me know if there is anything I can communicate back to them.
@Pablo Ojeda We do not have any update yet. We are yet to plan this item.
Hi @sathish s sorry to ask again but Prime Therapeutics is asking for an update on this enhancement.
@Pablo Ojeda All other content types(Document, Sections, Catalog) are already working in a way that if you make any changes in review will be visible in the content library. We have this functionality only for QA pair, the reason behind it, if the user draft any of the review content it should not be changed in library screen for usage.
We understand the ask from customer, as of now we are currently working on other customer priorities, like bringing Content library search in Section view(ask from ADP) etc., so we are completely packed for Q4.
Also this we need to think of all the customers, since currently they are used to it, and any changes made in review will be available for usages like, Recommendation, Auto Respond, AI. So this is we need some time, we will discuss this with the internal, leadership team, and keep you posted on it.
Thank you
@sathish s FYI
@VISWA S @Pablo Ojeda is the currently functionality that the updates do not show until it's been approved through moderation? I completed the review of a QA pair & it didn't update in the CL even though I was the reviewer. It seems like if it updates in Sections, Catalogs, etc. it should also in QA to be consistent.
@viswanathan @Natalie_Berigan I'm on with Prime and they are expressing frustration that there has not been any movement on this. Do we have any ETA?
@viswanathan @sathish s MFS Investment is also requesting this feature. They need to make changes to metadata on items in review and have them reflected in the library while the content is in review.
@Pablo Ojeda - If I understand correctly, they are requesting the ability to update metadata alone. For instance, if metadata is updated, it must also be reflected in the library, even though it is already in the review cycle.
@Karthik Kumar that is correct.
We need more validation to be done. Few customers may need it and few may not need it. We need to bring it as Admin settings. Based on Priority, this will not be planned for this year.
@Karthik Kumar thanks for the update. Prime Therapeutics told me this is a huge pain point for them and is "killing" them. Anything we can do would be much appreciated.
@karthikumar both Prime Therapeutics and MFS Investment Management are asking for updates on this request. Is there anything I can pass along to both of these accounts?
@karthikumar and @VISWA S this has come up a few times and both Prime Therapeutics and MFS Investment would really like this update. Could this be considered?
This is in progress and planned to deliver it in Q3,2025.
@sathish s Let's plan this in Q3
@Pablo Ojeda This is already delivered and available in production.
