Separate option needed to Manage Documents

I have received a request from the client. They want their SMEs to be able to edit documents under the Documents tab in the project module but not edit the sections/authors/reviewers. Currently, under the Role permission, we have both Manage Sections and Documents under "Update Section," and there is no option to separate Manage Documents from Manage Sections.
