Kaiser is requesting that Responsive prevent users from going over character limits. Currently Responsive shows you if you have gone over but does not prevent you from doing so.
@Pablo Ojeda We have this restriction for "Basic Rich Text". Can you please convey this to Customer.
For Full Rich Text - We do not have a timeline to bring this restriction along with word and character count restriction.
@Khalees V Kaiser is aware of this but would like Responsive to prevent you from typing past the character limit.
Hi @Khalees V Kaiser is asking if we might implement a change that prevents users from going over the character limit instead of just warning them.
@Pablo Ojeda Are they asking for Full Rich Text?
@Khalees V yes, I believe so
@Pablo Ojeda OK. Even if we bring a restriction, it will not be applicable when the user is using recommendation pane, auto-respond or AI to answer to the question. The restriction will be applicable only when they start answering to a question from blank/scratch manually. Do you think this is acceptable?
@Khalees V yes, that would work!
@Bagavathy Nagarajan Moving this to Platform as it is related to Rich Text Editor
@Herthik : For Full Rich Text - Can we check on the feasibility of bringing this restriction along with word and character count restriction? If the effort is less, we can pick it up in Q4.
@Bagavathy and @Herthik Kaiser is asking about this one again. Could this one still be implemented? Please let me know if there are any updates.
Hey team has this been implemented? Optum was noticing it last week, but this week when I went to test I was able to type past the character limit
@Bagavathy and @Herthik checking again on this one for Kaiser. Will this be possible Q4?
@bruce To answer your question below - Team implemented only for the basic rich text during May/June but not for full rich text.
