Users without "Add Content" cannot toggle on Save in Answer Library in a project

Urgent Request from ADP

Current situation:
Users who don’t have “Add content” permission in their role will not have the “Save in Library” option in the projects. This was recently changed in the “May 30” release. It is a gap in implementation and it has now been addressed in the past release (May 30).

Request:
Customer would like to have an option where the user in a particular role should be able to add Q&A pairs from the Project to the Library using "Save in Library" option but they shouldn't have permission to directly add content to the Library.

@Pablo Ojeda This was the change done in the May 30 release. We cannot revert it back.

@Khalees V ADP would like users to have the ability to submit content to moderation within a project. Part of their process is to have them toggle on the "Save in Answer Library".

They do not want them to have the ability to add content directly to the content library. Is there a possibility for the new permissions to be expanded upon for this use case?

@Pablo Ojeda No. We don't. Ideally instead of tying it with "Add Content" permission we should have introduced a new permission to govern the visibility of the "Save in AL" button.

Is this a show-stopper/critical for ADP?

@Khalees V because of all the issues they have been experiencing it is not good that they feel we have taken away functionality. With that said, I don't think it is a show stopper but they are not happy.

Hi @Pablo Ojeda @Khalees V T. Rowe Price is making a bunch of noise about the same thing. They don't want users to be able to add content to the CCL directly but want them to have access to Save in AL

This S4 has been implemented. New permission "Save in Content Library" introduced under Response Project to control the toggle.
