Change Project Primary During Cloning

Kaiser would like the ability to select a new Project Primary at the beginning of the cloning process.

From Kaiser: "When cloning a project the ability to change the user so the previous user doesn't get notified would be very helpful. We would like the Primary contact of the original project to be changed before notifications of cloning are sent, so if the person who cloned the project isn't the original primary contact they can notify the correct person upon cloning."

@Pablo Ojeda Are they using Clone extensively? Can we recommend them to use project template? Because creating project from template will allow admins and mangers to update the project details including primary contact before project is created. So can we recommend templates?

Kaiser informed me that they use cloning extensively to create empty projects that contain the metadata of the original project.

Here is a snippet of the conversation where Renee describes why they use cloning.

So if somebody works on a project that doesn't have a questionnaire, So they're kind of just project managing it. They will typically clone last year. So because the account team stays the same. The group's the same. The consultant, like, the dates change, but most of the metadata stays the same. Mhmm. So cloning saves the time in having to create new or read you all those fields.

And when you say there's not a questionnaire, are there I mean, are there is it an RFP, the original, or what is it?

They're rates and benefits only.

So we get the requests from the client, but it's basically managing underwriter and underwriter's time. So there's not like, there's no questions. There's just a project that they're, like, managing the timeline for.
