Who all has integrated Salesforce with RFPIO? What actions are you performing in SFDC?
Our sales team utilizes the SFDC integration to create both project and intake forms directly in SFDC. The integration allows all of their information to populate in RFPIO for our proposal team to begin the project. The Sales Team can track the status of the project in SFDC - limiting a lot of internal back and forth! They can also use the reporting feature in SFDC if they'd like!
Same here. Our sales team submits all projects (security questionnaires and RFx) to the Proposal Team via SFDC intake. The automated email notification is sent to everyone on the Proposal Team and our Monday board. The intake process has streamlined communication with the sales team, and ensures that all required information is provided to the Proposal Team up front. This process reduces the project setup time and improves communication with the sales team. The integration also enables us to pull SFDC information directly into RFPIO for tracking and reporting.
Can we use RFPIO also for Cases? Some customer questionnaires go through our Support team who open Cases in Salesforce.
@Susan Felke We can in fact associate a Case with an RFPIO Project as we allow for integration with any object in Salesforce.
In fact, we have a few clients that are currently leveraging our SFDC integration this way.
I would connect with your RFPIO account team to learn more about how to set this particular workflow up.
We use SFDC for Intake forms also, it's extremely helpful, it populates the required fields, so the rep just has to attach documents when requesting RFP/DD/SQ support.
Same, we use the integration as an intake and love that some fields can already come over populated from the opportunity in Salesforce.
Same! We use the Intake, and we are considering the Proposal Builder as well but have yet to implement that.
@Amrindar Singh
We have been using a Sales Support Request for the intake function. Are there any reporting advantages based on which object you are linked to?
Our primary Integration use is the Intake, which has become a critical step in our process. If it is not sent via Intake, we do not touch it. We are trying to get the reporting where we need it to be, but we need a little more time to focus on it to make it show what we need. We are also still contemplating Proposal Builder, but it is slow going.
What are some tips and ideas tracking KPIs and what are the top KPIs being tracked when you use intake with SF?@Amrindar Singh
Some of the data I see customers tracking (and I tracked myself) include:
Many of these are pulled with a combo of data from Responsive and SF (or other CRM system).
I see many suggestions for intake in SFDC, I'm curious to know if you are using a standard object or set up a CUSTOM object to receive these intakes. Thanks for any additional insight. Bob Moalli (MEDITECH)
