Currently, after annotations are added, the yellow highlight is applied to the content and in the annotations panel, they are sorted by type.
Working with customers that have very large narrative responses, the ability to easily/quickly track down the location of an annotation would be very helpful.
As it stands, when you click on an existing annotation, it brings up the menu for editing it. In the background, it also highlights the annotation in the response field.
It would be more helpful if we could more clearly separate these actions - where clicking on the annotation could jump you to the location of it in the response field (still highlighting) and then if a user wanted to edit, then they could interact with a menu to prompt editing.
This is seeking to increase annotation utility as I have encountered customers who reference the difficulty of using comments to track down needed edits in large response fields and annotations only partly serve the challenge at this time since you have to quickly close the editing menu and scroll to the highlighted annotation - which is not particularly efficient.
Comments of this nature arose for both Knowledge Services and Delaware Resource Group.
