Legal Team / Redlining / Contracts / Terms & Conditions

How do you involve your legal team in Responsive? Our team typically redlines contracts, terms & conditions, etc. so at this time they prefer to review outside of Responsive. I created a "collection" for legal with proposed language, however, was curious how other companies get their legal team to also utilize Responsive.

Hi! We recently-ish got our legal team working in Responsive. What we do is create a Legal folder under Project Documents with each project. We elevated their permissions so they had the ability to Edit in Word from Project Documents. Sometimes they just complete our standard Exceptions Table, and other times they work in the actual Word document. It seems to be working pretty well!

Our legal team has been answering questions in Responsive for years. We do not have a specific Legal folder set up, but we do have specific items tagged and/or identified as policies/T&Cs. We do not manage anything redline-related in Responsive.

We add the standard language we have and then send it for review each time in case nuances in language have an impact on the 'legal jargon'.
