When a section is assigned to a user, two tasks are created on the My Work page, one showing the project's due date and the other for the section task. If we uncheck Project Tasks and deadlines from the Task Type filter on the My Work, it doesn't show the project deadlines, but it remains checked by default for all users. As there are two tasks displayed, this is creating confusion for many of our clients.
bessem.guedjiba@trustwave.com from Trustwave dropped a Feedback asking us to add a indication showing the author/user that there is nothing to review under the task. This is her comment -
"To streamline the process, we kindly request that RFPIO add a visual indicator for "Zero Questions." This change will greatly reduce confusion and enhance the user experience. Thank you for your consideration!" When I explained how the users can uncheck the filter to not display due dates, she said -
"While we appreciate the ability to filter task types in the My Work Dashboard, our concern lies with the absence of a clear visual indicator when a reviewer has "Zero Answers to Review."
In the current setup, when a reviewer is assigned a task to review an author's work or responses, the task appears in their My Work section. However, it doesn't provide any indication if there are "Zero Answers to Review." This lack of clarity leads our reviewers to take additional steps, such as checking multiple sections and inquiring with the RFP project manager, in order to understand the nature of their tasks.
To streamline our workflow and improve user experience, we kindly request that RFPIO consider adding a visual indicator for tasks that have "Zero Questions to Review." This small but significant change will greatly reduce confusion among our reviewers and enhance their overall experience within the RFPIO platform.
Thank you for your consideration!"
I have also seen other users creating support tickets asking us as to why there are two tasks for a Project. Please see if we can show an indication as Besseem suggested, so users can distinguish between Project due dates and tasks.
Thank you,
Best,
Sumana
