Evernorth is looking for a way to assign questions to authors and have the message appear as a comment to all the questions they are assigned (in one section or across sections).
In client's own words: Heidi's question: When assigning authors there is an option to send a message to the author, so that when the assignment email goes out there is also a message specific to the question that is included in the email (.But, those messages aren't recorded on the question level as a comment.
They are recorded on the discussion tab, but they are not attached to the question. So inside the discussion tab, you can't see who the message sent to or what question it's regarding. This feels like a gap in functionality for both the PM and the SME, who are looking for those comments attached to the sections/questions they are assigned.
Note: When questions are assigned individually, we have an option to track the messages as comments but when assigning in bulk by selecting the Questions it shows that the messages are tracked in discussion tab. We cannot see as to which question the discussion is routed to as this is causing a gap for them

We've been discussing this further with Evernorth and this keeps coming back to context. Even when adding comments in bulk, the people who are @mentioned need to see the comments in the context of the question. While the topic tab can work in some scenarios, it doesn't really resolve the issue for them.
