Currently, the search bar within Sections has different filters from Answering view. Request from Microsoft to create parity between these views, especially in line with the new release to search for question number.

@Helene Halliday In the new experience, the filters are specific to the page. For example, in the section list view users can filter only sections and hence we will have only section related filters. Likewise, in the answering and other pages. This is by design across products in the new experience. That said, global search (search across pages) is in consideration in future and that would address the Microsoft's feedback. I will keep you informed when we prioritize the global search.
