Hannes Schreiber from Factset reached out to us with feedback for our Grid View. When a column is resized (made small and then expanded), it is not automatically changing the row size to make it compact. According to her
"The newly available space to the next row is not automatically reduced and there is no other column with a size that would prevent it from being reduced. From example, if a specific cell has a lot of text and I make this column wider, it does not automatically resize the row size, so there is a lot of space between each row."
I also noticed that when we collapse the recommendations panel even though there is enough space, the grid table does not automatically expand it self unless we do it manually. When we resize (for larger response fields and question fields) a whitespace is left under each row in the column.

In the video -
- When we have the recommendations panel collapsed, it doesn't automatically re-size unless we do it manually and there is a lot of unused space there.
- When we have a large response if the response field and we edit the response by deleting a few paragraphs, it leaves a lot of empty space below the now small response field and does not automatically resize the row to show the other responses at the bottom of it.
Discussed with Khalees before creating this S4.
Please see if this can be addressed in one of our future updates!
Thank you!
