Ability to filter by Documents in the Recommendation Engine

Client DCM Services leverages Documents & attachments heavily in their responses. They would like the ability to filter by only Documents in the Recommendation Engine like they can in the Content Library. This would allow them to more easily filter & search the hundreds of documents they have in the Library.

@Nicole Do you know what filters they will be using to search for documents?

@Khalees V They have several hundred documents in the Library that they don't always attach to Q&A pairs. They would like to be able to filter to just Documents in the Recommendation Engine, which would allow them to capture that it was used and applied via the Library. Current behavior if you just want to attach a document (by clicking the paper clip icon on the Response and selecting "Document Library") tracks that as Manually answered, which isn't an accurate reflection if they are just attaching the document and using the "Question Attachment Text". Please let me know if this helps or if you have any other questions!

@Nicole Hate to come back for further clarification. Are we talking about recommendation engine (i.e., auto-suggesting answers), or user performed search in the right-side panel in the Project answering page? I see multiple references to "Recommendation engine", but I also see this statement "this would allow them to more easily filter & search the hundreds of documents they have in the Library", which gives me the impression this is about search and not recommendation engine.

@khalees it's about being able to find & apply documents from the Reccommendation Engine to the Response in a Project.

@Nicole There are 2 requirements here

To search for documents in content library from the recommendation pane and then add it as attachment to the project question
The used count of the attached document should be incremented

Please confirm if my understanding is correct?
