Hi Helene, Recently, I attended a coffee chat about Catalog & Proposal Builder but wasn't clear about it. I wonder if you can send me the recording of this event. Sorry, I couldn't find the recording in the community.

Can I use this feature to enable our sales folks to select the sections or components that make up a proposal template and then only generate the template? We're refining our process so that the sales folks can pick and choose the content they like to tailor for their client, and it would be very useful if this feature could do just that.

Hi @Keith Theang - yes Proposal Builder allows your team to select Sections, that can include changing components via Catalogs, which they can then export into their Response Template. This can be tailored depending on your product offerings, ect.

In order to utilize Catalogs, you must have Sections to place the Catalogs within, as well as a Response Template (the shell that the Sections are exported into with your company's branding).

I've attached a Proposal Builder 101 Visual Guide for your reference. It includes all Coffee Chats, University Videos, and Help Articles to assist you in building out this function. Professional Services can also help you build this functionality out if you'd prefer to outsource.

We will have our final Proposal Builder Coffee Chat on September 27, 2023 where we will wrap up how the functionality should work once the components are built out!
