Update Source file to identify the duplicates and add the new data

If the user exported the project with the answers, and send it to the customers, their customer would then receive the exported project and update it with a few additional questions. The user makes changes to the source file, but our system fails to recognize the previously provided answers and treats them as new data, along with the newly added questions, and produces duplicate response fields under the project.

The user requests that the system recognize on the already added questions and answers, delete them, and only take into account the newly provided information when updating the source file with exported data.

@sunitha Is it possible to share both the versions of the file to check?

@Khalees V I don't have the sample document at this point of time from the user, but the use case if when we have the exported answer re-imported it gets duplicated under response field. It appears to be common on all the excels that we re-import. This enhancement was suggested by Ashaa @Ashaa M FYI

Modifying the existing question that has already been answered
Adding new question

I think you are referring to the first one. If Yes, system will consider it as the new question currently.

Please correct me If my understanding is correct.

@Khalees V Scenario:

Step 1: User has an Excel that has 10 questions -- imports in to the project--answers and export.

Step 2: User sends this exported excel to their client, they add 2 questions for example in the exported document.

Step 3: User uses this exported file(Which has question that was already imported) along with 2 newly added questions using update source file option.

Step 4: Since it is the exported document that has answers, system identifies the Answers for Question 1-10 as newly added with 2 new added questions.

Step 5: System creates a duplicate response field along with existing response field for the Question 1-10 and then add 2 questions with one response field.

@sunitha Thank you for the detailed S4. I think it's a bug. System should not add additional answer columns upon updating the source file. I will check on this.
