How to use animation in proposal responses?

I am interested in hearing if and how other RFPIO users are including animation in proposal responses. Understanding that some submission platforms might restrict the inclusion of animation, have other users found ways to leverage it, such as including a personal message from the company President?

@Liddy Kelly what a great question! Most of my proposal experience was in healthcare IT, so our proposals were very technical. We provided a lot of screenshots and diagrams. However, when I wrote proposals for uniforms and apparel, we provided more action photos and visuals. So, depending on your product and your audience, I could see some opportunity to add animation. I think a great place to test the waters would be in the submission email. That would reduce the risk of it not functioning properly in the actual document.

Hi @Helene ,

I'm referring to the inclusion of a brief video offering up a customized message to the prospective customer, adding a personal touch to our submission. I think some submission platforms would prohibit this (especially Federal) but I've been asked to explore whether this is something other companies are doing as a differentiator.

@Susanne Thanks so much for the insight! Very good point. I am in IT as well and like your suggestion to include the animation component in the submission email as a tester. Great idea.
