If the Author has already been assigned to the section and the user tries to add the same person again, a warning message should be sent. The user is considering this as a big since and the Author assignment and message are not sent a second time.
Can you please clarify why the Customer tried to add already assigned author again? Is it at the section or question level?
Because the user was unsure of the commenting process, she assumed she would assign the Author and use the message to author feature because there was no warning that the Author had already been assigned. She continued to carry out the action but received no email or assignment, which confused her. Section level action was taken.
I am not getting the actual context here. It would be great if you could schedule a quick call to show what the Customer is referring to.
