RFP Processes

Hi All,

Our team is small and currently mainly utilizing RFPIO for questionnaires, but we are looking to create a separate process for RFPs.

We’re in the process of developing an RFP-focused process for our Sales team using RFPIO. I wanted to get some insight into how you're currently using a built-out process and hopefully pick your brain a bit to get some ideas. Thank you! 😀

@Lauren Cameron I am sure there are a lot of people here that can provide feedback :) We have a documented RFP process, but it is built based on how our Sales process operates. We also have requirements based on Salesforce Stages that have to be met before we will work on anything to make sure it is a qualified opportunity. We are using the Intake feature with Salesforce/RFPIO as a key point in our process.

@Lauren Cameron Following up on Beth's note - does your RFP team use Salesforce or another CRM tool? Additionally, do they fill out questionnaires or are the RFPs more narrative based?

@helene@rfpio.com We do use Salesforce and have our RFPIO intake setup through SF Opps for our questionnaires. So right now our processes are set up around customer questionnaires like DDQs, RFIs, Security Assessments etc. But now we need to build out another process around formal RFPs--basically where to house documents, how the sales team can access and use docs from RFPIO, etc. Best practices for completing RFPs.
