PROD-I-1221 Filtering Comments in a Project by Author & by Open/Closed Comments

While I've seen ideas about having comments in reports, it would also be great if we could filter comments in a project by the person(s) who provided the comment as well as by whether or not the comments are open or closed.

During the review process, it is very difficult to get a clear view of what comments have been placed and by whom, who needs to take action per the comment, and then what comments have been closed versus what comments are still open.

Hi Samantha,

We have filters based on the open and resolved comments in the Answering page. In the discussion tab, we have the same filter as mentioned above, Additionally we have can filter by @mention users in the comment. This will give better visibility who was @mentioned by whom. Kindly let me know if it address your idea.

Hi Deepan,

To build onto this request (now that I know how to filter), when reviewing and filtering through the comments, there is no visibility to the full question and response; see image below.

To see what the current response is, one must navigate away from the filtered comment view (by clicking on the question), which adds another step in the process. Then, one must take a couple steps to get back to the filtered comments view. It would be nice if one could view all the contextual information in one spot as one is reviewing comments.
