Suggestion/Request from Prime Therapeutics.
Problem: There isn’t an easy way to see which questions you’ve answered in RFPIO when some of those questions are assigned to multiple Authors.
- Some users select “Mark as Answered” when they’ve completed their portion of the response, even though the full response is not yet complete and the IT RFP Coordinator or Proposal Writer have to uncheck the box until everyone is finished with their updates.
- Some users never select “Mark as Answered” when there are multiple Authors assigned, even when they’re the last one to provide a response.
- Users have a hard time determining when they’ve completed everything in RFPIO until all Authors complete their responses and someone selects “Mark as Answered”
Solution: Include a “Mark as Answered” check box next to every Author. For Screenshot #1, the question would be considered answered for IT-Asset Management and would not appear in their list when they select “My Unanswered Questions.” However, it would still show unanswered for everyone else.
- RFPIO could have built in logic to automatically mark the overall question as answered after all Authors mark the question as answered next to their name/team.
- This would allow users/teams to manage their questions more efficiently and prevent confusion around what they have and haven’t answered.
- This would also improve reporting accuracy. For Screenshot #2, IT Asset Management shows 1 question listed as Answered and 1 question listed as Not Answered. It really should show 2 questions listed as Answered and 0 questions listed as Not Answered, but that isn’t possible today since each individual user/team can’t mark the question as answered when they’ve finished their portion of the response.
