How to best collaborate?
I thought I'd share one thing I do and perhaps use this as a shameless plug for a suggestion raised to add this.
After importing a project, the first thing I do is run through each question and assign collaborators, and I also take the opportunity to tag the question. While it may be premature to tag unanswered questions, I started the habit thinking the recommendation engine would weigh its suggestions based on tag matching.
This is where my shameless plug comes in. It appears as though this isn't the case, nor does it appear the tags (when in moderation) are used when searching for duplicates. Vote if you like this idea!
Suggestion name is "Tagged question in Project to be used by Recommendation engine"
I find the added benefits of tagging early is that when revisiting the question, it's a glanceable bit of information that helps me quickly understand the context of the question. It also helps collaborators who are less familiar with our content narrow down their search and helps with perspective on the question.
