Hello Team -
Some more feedback after a few recent demonstrations of the Proposal Builder functionality in SFDC from prospects. I have done two deep-dive demonstrations for prospects, in which we have not only considered the User experience for creating proposals, but also the user experience for setting up and maintaining proposals in RFPIO. Note...the prospect I got most of this from was extremely picky about UI generally, so I'm sure not everyone would feel as strongly as they did.
Here's what I captured:
1) Permit the headings in the Create Project UI to be Edited. The customers felt that the term "Template" was overused and confusing (Proposal Template, Section Template, Response Template etc.). Instead, they'd prefer labels like "Document Type", "Sections", and "Output Format" They also did not like the term "Catalogs" - and would want to change that to "Selections" or something like that. How hard would it be to allow users to change the display names?
2) Permit the headings to be re-ordered. In the workflow, you want to select Section Templates first, but instead Catalogs is presented beforehand. I don't believe it is possible to re-order these...or is it?

3) The "Generate proposal" button does not generate the proposal. It generates a Preview. The prospect throught would be more intuitive if it said this.
4) The biggest of all....after Generating the proposal, we noticed that they'd forgotten to select some content, so wanted to go back into the UI and add the missing section/catalogs, and re-Generate the document. But...that is not currently possible - you need to start all over again.
