How do you mark proposals making it to the interview or BAFO stage, but ultimately ending in a loss?

While a proposal may ultimately end up as a loss, we want to be able to quantify a proposal as a win for the proposal team if we move to the interview or BAFO stage of the process. How are people marking this in Details? If I add 'Interview' or 'BAFO' to the Stage field, once it is moved to a loss, it is no longer searchable by that stage. Do you have a separate field for 'Interview' and 'BAFO'? I was thinking about adding a checkbox for each, but you can't add anything to the Stage Details section, and having it elsewhere on the About page makes it confusing.

A few ways I’ve seen customers solve for this include creating customized stage tags, such as “Lost Interview Stage” or “Lost BAFO Stage,” to keep the progression visible even after the final status is marked as a loss. Another option, as you mentioned, is to add checkboxes on the About page for Interview or BAFO stages that can be checked as the proposal progresses.
