I have marked a number of RFP sub questions — which either begin with letters (a, b, c, etc.) or bullets before the actual sub question's content — in a Word document as LEVEL 1- SUB QUESTION.
However, after I import the Word document, both the 'letter' and the 'bullet' sub questions are displayed with numerical formatting (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc.) rather than the original alphabetical list format.
As a workaround, I have been able to manually edit each sub question number, but is there something I could do to prevent this from happening in the first place to eliminate manual rework? Here is a screenshot to illustrate what is occurring:
