Salesforce Integration - Open the New Intake form in new window

Client : HPE

Client wanted to know the feasibility and the timeline. They said they are interested in this and wanted to follow-up.

In Salesforce when the user create a new custom button (Create Intake) and marked it to open the page in new browser tab, however once the user click the Create Intake button, it is still opening on the same page and not opening the New Intake form on Separate browser tab.

In the below screenshot - On clicking Create Intake button, it is taking the user away from the Opportunity Detail page, but the user wanted to view the Detail page (to refer the field values in the detail page), and wanted to see the Create Intake form in a new window as configured. But it is navigating away from the detail page and displaying the Create Intake form. Can we please open the Create Intake form in new window.

@sathishkumar Opening in new window should work - I will check and share the recording.

@sathishkumar We will check as to why this configuration for 'open in new window' is not supported or is there any limitation. Has any other customer asked for the same?
