A limitation of our current RA custom dictionaries is lacking support for proximity terms. 2-3 enterprise prospects have expressed this as a significant or critical requirement. One current prospect would commit to moving forward in 2024 if we could map out feasibility & timeline for this enhancement. Strategically they are one of multiple subsidiaries of a larger opportunity.
EXAMPLE: In the first row, part of the criteria would be identifying paragraphs or sentences which contain "fin" AND "defect" … additionally the customer way wish to further define criteria using proximity operator: "fin defect"~10
For reference, the attached Excel shows how this prospect Azuria tracks their proximity terms. Please note the format of this input is client-specific and it's not expected that we accommodate this exactly. I ask that we review the backend keyword search/index method for RA, and determine whether BOOLEAN or PROXIMITY are in reach of the current feature set, and then have a more specific discussion about the input format.
