Can we please include Split functionality in Requirements Analysis Section mapping.
Mattie: Usually in PDFs the text for a heading can get stuck on the paragraph above it. So split functionality can help us pull it out. When we map in requirements analysis we can only really map section headings... so the ability to split so we can map those without taking the whole paragraph. Sweety: Since this a formatting issue in RFP and doesn't happen often, we are going to park this idea for future consideration. We will re-look into it if we get more such requests. - 29Feb2024
Sweety: We got a similar request/concern from customer "Engie Development". "Chris: "...I think the only other thing that I found with that I have difficulty with is… if the paragraph isn't split the right way, like our section headings and section numbers aren't coming through, like I only had one where it was actually section heading, section, our section number and heading. And then the question was the next line or the requirement was the next line where I could actually get it to align with all the sections. The rest of them, it's a whole paragraph that includes, you know, whatever we would call that section, but it's O, it wasn't easy to go in and be able to select all the section headings because the wording was part of the requirement, if that makes sense?"Link to the customer call happened on 26Mar24
Sweety: We got same feedback from customer "Seneca Holdings".
"Christa: The other issue I ran into is with the selection of the text. I only had the option of selecting whole lines or paragraphs. The Federal government often provides us with PDF files and also will have a section that has the title in bold, and then a description that starts on the same line. I’m unable to mark them as a section and then description." - received on mail on 05Apr24
