How to turn off recommendations

Hi - I have a project for which there is no existing content and we are writing from scratch.

The recommendations are unnecessary noise for the team but I can't seem to see a way to turn them off for the project. Any ideas?

Hi @Dani Lloyd! I am not aware of a way to turn that feature off....but you could perhaps setup in the project settings the answer search to focus on a specific tag (I assume you have a new tag for the content you are creating from scratch) so that the recommendations would be blank. I'm sure you've thought of this but if the users are familiar with Responsive and have used it before they can just collapse the view to get the recommendations panel out of the way.

Looking forward to see what other tips are provided.

Hi @Dani Lloyd - I checked with the Product Team and we are not able to turn off the Recommendation Engine for a specific product.

Like Andrew mentioned, there could be some alternative areas you could explore, such as:

Creating strict guidelines within the Project Settings in a Projects, so no results are displayed.
Creating a collection with your content and only adding users you want access to the content library.
