Mapping supplementary info for each question in RFP

Hi there,

I have a question regarding mapping the questions in an RFP uploaded.

There are two additional columns of supplementary information for each question (in Excel format) and I mapped the 2 additional columns using "Tags". However, once I've imported the RFP, the supplementary info was broken down by each bullet point in the supplementary info, instead of continuous text. Is there a way to avoid that? If not, what's the best way to map lengthy supplementary info for each question in the RFP?

Hi Keith,

How lengthy are the fields? Usually I map informational only fields in Excel as a Label (Like if it says required, optional, etc.) If it's longer, maybe try description?

Hi Sarah,

Some of them can be quite lengthy. Description is only for Section as they only appear once at the beginning of the 1st question but these supplementary info (in additional columns) are for each question.

@Keith Theang I would also recommend using labels if that is content you want to associate to the question level. If you do not wish that supplementary info into the content library should you save that Q/A pair from the project, you can uncheck the index box when mapping that field. This will ensure the info is there for context when responding to the project, but omitted when that content is saved in the library. If you leave index checked and you save in the library, the fields marked as labels will save as an alternate answer in the library.

Thanks, Tara! I shall try that next time but I don't remember seeing "Labels" in the floating toolbar when mapping. Is that under the 3-dots after "Description"?
